More than just sewing


The Blue and Gold Ventures, Multi-purpose Cooperative (BGV) is composed of retired and former employees of Miriam College. They created BGV to promote the cooperative way of life for improving the social and economic life of their members.


Today BGV operates the Sewing and Supplies Centers of the school, providing goods and services to the community. Because of its cooperative set-up, its staff members each commissioned project.

Mission

Blue and Gold Ventures is a multipurpose cooperative, composed of retired employees of Miriam College, that advocates and espouses a cooperative way of life for improving the social and economic well-being of its members.


Vision

Blue and Gold Ventures-Multi-Purpose Cooperative promotes and provides quality goods and services to learning organizations and other communities. It practices a manner of transaction based on fairness, dialogue, transparency and integrity. It personifies the virtue of caring for the earth.
